Our History

The origins of the Morgan & Morgan Group date back to 1923, when Dr. Eduardo Morgan (1902 - 1988) began his law practice in the Republic of Panama.

As its professional activities grew, Morgan & Morgan incorporated new partners and other specialized professionals, in areas such as management, finance, accounting, information, technology and marketing.  Presently Morgan & Morgan is Panama and Central America’s largest and the most internationally oriented law firm.

Additionally, Morgan & Morgan has established an international license bank in The Bahamas (as of December 1996), a general license bank in Panama (as of November 2002), a secretarial, management and back-office services company, an international leasing company, and a fiduciary and trust services company.

Morgan & Morgan has been very successful in developing an international presence by establishing a network of offices in important financial and shipping centers around the world. Its diversification into new service areas, in tandem with its successful international expansion, has transformed what was once a small law firm into a fully integrated international group of companies, known today as the Morgan & Morgan Group.
